Montana Fishing Vacation - It's More Than Great Fishing, It's an
Adventurous Experience
His answer was, Montana fishing vacation. Our
receptionist had been trying to reach him on his mobile phone all since
Friday.
No one expected Alvin to take another short
vacation - let alone, be in Montana again. But that was where he was...
again.
Although
it was not not my business, I began to wonder if the fish in Montana (or
elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest, for that matter) were different from
those in the Gulf of Mexico.
However, the way my co-worker described his short
fishing vacation (excursions) to Montana, I realized that it has to do
with whole package.
My curiosity led me to realize that, even though I
lived in Atlanta, I could easily arrange a Montana fishing vacation for a
weekend. It's easy to:-
-
rent a raft or small boat,
-
stay at a Riverside lodge or in a cabin if the
weather is friendly, and
-
get on a drift boat and float with friends,
-
haul in some autumn brown trout or spring rainbow
trout, depending on the season.
Even though I am not as experienced with the line
and rod as Alvin is, I soon realized that a Montana fishing vacation is
super-adventurous (if there is such a term).
